FINALITY. surplus fund intelligence

About

Making surplus recovery accessible and intelligent.

Finality is built by Tempered Technologies LLC. We turn a fragmented, hard-to-work corner of public finance into something a serious operator can run like a portfolio — with the rigor of an institution and the boundaries to match.

Why we built it

When a property sells at a tax-deed auction for more than what was owed, the difference — the surplus — belongs to the former owner or other entitled parties. In practice, that money is hard to find, harder to verify, and easy to lose to whoever moves first. The work is real; the information is a mess.

Finality was built on a simple conviction: that work shouldn’t fall on the operator. The interpretation is already done, every figure traces to source, and the field is surfaced to you ahead of the market — each case resolved into a decision-ready file before it ever reaches your feed.

We run the intelligence. You run the recovery.

That line is the whole company. Finality compiles, verifies, and continuously monitors every surplus case in a region, then resolves each one into a decision-ready file — who is entitled, what is recoverable, what survives the sale, and a clear read on whether it’s worth pursuing. We don’t recover funds, represent claimants, or take a cut of anything. The operator stays the principal, always.

The result is an information service built to institutional standards: authenticated, tier-gated, and audit-logged, with verifiability as the point rather than an afterthought. It’s the kind of tool serious professionals use — quiet, rigorous, and honest about what it knows and what it doesn’t.

What we stand for

Three commitments behind the feed.

Verifiability first

Every figure traces back to source. A case that can’t stand behind its numbers doesn’t enter the feed. You can act without re-checking our work — and check it whenever you want.

Intelligence over volume

We surface a focused field of resolved, decision-ready cases — every one worth your time. The judgment work is done before a case reaches you; the decision stays yours.

Boundaries, in writing

No contingency, no claimant-facing side, no reselling your activity to a competitor. The asymmetry runs one way — toward the operator we work with, never against them.

The lines we don’t cross

Explicit, so you can trust the lines we do.

A vendor you bring this close to your operation should make its boundaries explicit. Here are ours, in writing.

×Not a recovery firm

We never pursue a recovery, represent a claimant, or contact a former owner or lienholder. You are always the principal.

×No contingency, ever

A flat subscription and a fixed $97 per-case activation — included outright on Exclusive — never a percentage of a recovery, never a fee split. Your economics stay entirely yours.

×Never unfinished work

Every case arrives resolved and verified — the interpretation is done before it reaches you; the judgment stays yours.

×Not a broker of your activity

What we observe about how you work is never packaged, ranked, or sold to anyone you compete with.

×Not legal advice

Factual observations and statutory anchors — never a verdict. The legal interpretation is yours, or your attorney’s.

×Presented, never browsed

The feed is curated and presented to you, conflict-checked — never thrown open to anyone with a card.
